Kelebihan Shalat Tarawih

Diriwayatkan dari Ali Bin Abi Thalib ra bahwasanya berkata ia : Nabi Muhammad SAW pernah ditanya tentang kelebihan Shalat Tarawih di Bulan Ramadhan, maka beliaw bersabda:

The Tricks of The Devil

As for the tricks of Shaytan against you they are seven.
1. He obstructs you from doing acts of obedience . Repel him, if Allah protects you, by realizing that you are in need of these acts of obedience in order to gather provision from this life for the next life which will have no ending.
2. He commands you to procrastinate in acts of obedience . Repel him , if Allah protects you, by realizing that your appointed time is not in your hands and that you could die at any moment.
3. He commands you to rush in acts of obedience by suggesting to you , ” Hurry! In order that you can do so-and-so!” Repel him, if Allah protects you, that realizing that few acts of obedience done with perfection is better than many done incompletely.
4. He commands you to perfect your worship in order to be seen of men. Repel him, if Allah protects you, by realizing that the sight of Allah is enough for you over the sight of men.

Salam

Salam. Everyone is sinning, the sheikhs, the imams, me myself and you. Yes everyone is sinning. But let’s not forget the hadith of the Prophet SAW.
“Every Son of Adam is a Sinner, and the Best of Sinners are those who Repent” [Tirmidhi]

And also Allah says:
“Except those who repent, have faith and good deeds, those Allah will charge their sins for good deeds. Certainly Allah is most forgiving and merciful.” (Qur’an 25:70)

For repentance to be accepted by Allah, one should go through these four stages:

Common Mistakes Made During Ramadan

Most Muslims who fast Ramadan focus on the benefits and rewards of it. But in doing so, we often make mistakes that instead of adding to our experience actually detract from it. Mistakes that can make us commercialize Ramadan as so many other religions have commercialized their sacred days. Insh’Allah the following serves as a reminder to myself first and to all Muslims. May Allah help us to spend our time wisely this Ramadan and help us to avoid these mistakes. ameen

TAKING RAMADAN AS A RITUAL

For many of us Ramadaan has lost its spirituality and has become more of a ritual than a form of Ibaadah. We fast from morning to night like a zombie just because everyone around us is fasting too. We forget that its a time to purify our hearts and our souls from all evil….we forget to make dua, forget to beseech Allaah to forgive us and ask Him to save us from the Fire. Sure we stay away from food and drink but that’s about all.

Hadits

“When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained.” [Bukhari]

The Women Performing the Taraweeh Prayer at Home and The Masjid

I am a woman, (and) I pray the taraaweeh (prayer) in my home because the scholars say that the prayer of the woman in her home is better. However, during the last ten nights (of Ramadhaan) I become lazy of taraaweeh and because of that I am forced to go to the masjid so I can guarantee (for myself) that I can perform this action (the taraaweeh prayer) in its complete form, so what is your opinion?
Response: No doubt the prayer of the woman in her home is better, whilst it is also permissible for her to go to the masjid for the prayer with the Muslims (in congregation) with the condition that she is protected from any fitnah and that she is covered (by hijaab) and is separate from the men. So in both situations there is reward for her from Allaah (Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala), even though the first situation (praying in her home) is better.
[Shaykh Saailh ibn Fowzaan|ad-Da’wah - 1481, Ramadhaan 1415AH|ad-Durar an-Naadhirah fil-Fataawa al-Mu’aasirah - Page 235]

try :)

hate no one, no matter how much they’ve wronged you, live humbly, no matter how wealthy you become, think positively, no matter how hard life is, give much, even if you’ve been given little, keep
in touch with the ones who have forgotten you, and forgive who has wronged you, and do not stop

praying for the best for those you love.

-imam ali ibn abi taleb
Ramadan is the month of Ibaadah and not a month of festival, that we waste in buying Iftaar and prepare delicious food for whole month, and roam whole night eating delicious food and shop for Eid. Beware this could be the Last Ramadan for some of us , or many of us. Lets get the best of this Ramadan….. Ameen

“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their private parts from sin and not show of their adornment except only that which is apparent, and draw their headcovers over their necks and bosoms and not reveal their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, or their brothers’ sons, or their sisters’ sons, or their women (i.e., their sisters in Islam), or their female slaves whom their right hands possess, or old male servants free of physical desires, or small children who have no sense of women’s nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah altogether, O you Believers, in order that you may attain success.”
[24:31] The Holy Quran

Unlike prayers, charity, and pilgrimage, fasting is an invisible act. Only Allah and the person who is fasting know whether he or she is fasting or not. One may quietly eat or drink something and no one will notice and no one can find out. However, the fasting person has made this commitment for the sake of Allah and he or she wants to guard the purity of his or her fast for the sake of Allah. Fasting thus teaches sincerity, and it helps a person learn to live by the principles of his or her faith regardless whether others know or do not know. This is the very purpose and essence of taqwa.

Az-Zumar 39:53

Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”

Hadits

“Dear God, you are my Lord. There is no God but You. You created me and I am your servant. I am trying to fulfill my covenant with you and prepare for Your promise of the Hereafter to the best of my ability. I seek refuge from the evil that I have done. I admit to You that I recognize your blessings upon me. I admit my sins to you and I seek your forgiveness because no one forgives sins except you.” (Bukhari)
